Waste tracking fact sheets - Protecting the environment and your business

Tracking the transport and disposal of high-risk waste is necessary to minimise the potential harm to the environment and to human health. The Waste Regulation has been amended and simplified, making it easier for industry to comply with the requirements. The amended Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2005 came into effect on 1 March 2006.
